Term 2, 2024 EVENTS:

WEEK 3: MacGregorthon 2024 – MacGregorthon is our first P&C fundraiser for this year.  Similar to a spellathon, filled with a range of questions across different areas to challenge the children’s thinking.  Children in all year levels, will be involved in answering questions from some of the following areas – number & basic math facts, word recognition & spelling, and general knowledge.  All funds raised from MacGregorthon will go directly towards much needed resources at the school.  

Students will need to return the card to their teacher on Monday 29th April so that the number of correct answers can be entered onto the card.  All students will be tested on Monday 29th April, after which cards will be re-issued with the students results.  Money raised is due back to the school by Monday 13th May.  It is important that your child’s name and class is included so that they can go into the draw for the prizes on offer. 

WEEK 4: Mother’s Day Stall – Wednesday 8th &  9th Thursday May – Volunteers needed to assist in Gift wrapping in the lead up to the event and selling items on the days the stall will run.  Please see flyers to the right and below for more details and email secretary@msspc.org.au if you can help!
