Volunteering at MSS P&C Events

Volunteering gives you a great opportunity to meet other parents and staff while giving back to the school and the students. The MacGregor State School P&C hold many fundraisers throughout the year and is seeking your help as a volunteer. There are a range of roles to volunteer for and some can even be done from home. Some of the fundraising events include:

Mothers & Fathers Day Stalls

It takes a great team and a full year to ensure these stalls are a success. If you can help wrap presents from home or at school or help on the day of the stall you will be bringing a smile to many kids faces when they have a chance to buy that special gift.

MacGregorthon and Fun Run

These events need volunteers to help on the day and with collating all the donations.

Tuckshop and Uniform & Stationery Shop

If you have any spare time we would love to hear from you. We are always looking for parents/grandparents/carers to volunteer in the Tuckshop and Uniform & Stationery shop. Once a week, month or term, you would be very welcome. Come and meet other parents in our school community. Assisting in Canteens

During many events at the school we hold canteens to help raise funds. These days call for volunteers also.

Working Bees

During fund raising events we hold night time working bees. If you can’t assist through the day this is a great opportunity to help the team.
